The NOVA School of Science and Technology Library inaugurated its modern facilities in September 2006. Expanding an original idea of a space “beyond books”, the multiple facets of activities developed have created, for 15 years, strong links with the Campus and the Community.
10 years ago (2011), the Library became part of a collaborative project with five other national libraries under a protocol with the US Embassy in Lisbon, called American Corners. From this partnership emerged the FCT FabLab, inaugurated 5 years ago (2016), a space of excellence and innovation.
