The NOVA University of Lisbon won the fourth Portuguese position, and the 135th place worldwide, in the Ranking Web of World's Repositories 2021, recently released.
These results reflect the research of excellence practiced at the University, made available in an open and collaborative way.
The Repository of NOVA (RUN) has 36 569 documents, 13 271 813 downloads from all over the world. RUN contributes to the increase of the impact of research at NOVA, increasing its visibility and that of its researchers.
The 2021 Web of World's Repositories Ranking, promoted by Cybermetrics Lab, uses web indicators to measure the global visibility and impact of scientific repositories in order to encourage Open Access to scientific publications. This year 3120 repositories were analyzed globally.
