The newly doctored by NOVA School of Science and Technology and current Almascience researcher, Andreia dos Santos, received the prize for the best cover of 2020 from Sensors journal in the amount of 500 CHF.
The winning article, “Transduction Mechanisms, Micro-structuring Techniques, and Applications of Electronic Skin Pressure Sensors: A Review of Recent Advances”, is part of the doctoral thesis entitled “Development of Multifunctional E-skin Sensors”, supervised by Rui Igreja and Hugo Águas, professors in the Department of Materials Science (DCM), and developed at DCM, as well as at CENIMAT and CEMOP research centers.
