Helena Navas, professor at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and researcher at UNIDEMI at NOVA School of Science and Technology, won for the 3rd consecutive time the Best Paper Award from the Quality journal.
The paper entitled "Study for improvement of management and control applied to internal processes in a lift company", co-authored with Celso André da Silva Rodrigues, former student of the Master in Industrial Engineering and Management was published in nº 1 - 2020 of the Quality journal of APQ - Portuguese Association for Quality, and was selected by the Jury as the best paper in the 16th edition of this Award.
In 2019, Helena Navas was also the co-author of the winning article with former student Rodrigo da Mata Borges Boavida. In 2018, she won the distinction again, co-authoring the paper with António William Pereira Agostinho, another former student of the School.
The trophy related to this Award was handed over during the 44th APQ Quality Colloquium.
