The new scholarship program Geração NOVA, from the NOVA University of Lisbon, aims to ensure that no students are excluded from higher education.
The new scholarships, promoted by the NOVA Social Action Services (SAS NOVA), respond to the increase in requests from students who are unable to obtain any support or benefits or are not eligible to be covered by the grants from the Directorate-General for Education Superior (DGES).
This initiative result from the efforts of former scholarship holders and students, companies, civil society and NOVA community, which through its solidarity makes it possible to ensure higher education to those who seek it.
