Robert Wiley, professor in the Department of Conservation and Restoration and researcher-artist at VICARTE at the NOVA School of Science and Technology, was selected to represent Portugal in the prestigious European Glass Context 2021.
The researcher was selected in the Craft: unique master pieces and contemporary objects category and will be representing Portugal at the Denmark Biennial in September.
The biennial European Glass Context was established in 2005 and promotes the disciplines and trades of glass and ceramic art at European and global levels. For these representations, artistic works are chosen that best reflect innovative, experimental, and sustainable trends in the use of glass as a material for artistic expression in the European context.
