The NOVA University Lisbon (NOVA) and the biopharmaceutical Pfizer signed, at the end of January 2021, a collaboration protocol in the areas of Research & Development, Postgraduate Education and Education for Health and Literacy.
Aware of the relevance and impact of chronic diseases and infection, the Chronic Disease and Infection group, in which NOVA's School of Science and Technology participates and which is one of NOVAhealth's strategic areas, promotes the link between NOVA and Pfizer. This group and representatives of Pfizer promote "Think Tanks" aimed at promoting and developing cooperation mechanisms between the two entities.
With this partnership, NOVA reinforces its mission towards collaborative, responsible and internationally relevant research, which prioritizes the resolution of problems that affect the population, namely in the area of chronic diseases and infection.
