NOVA School of Science and Technology, through the Library, rejoins the celebrations of the Open Access Week.
This year's edition, under the theme “Open with Purpose: Taking Action to Build Structural Equity and Inclusion”, gains particular relevance. The times we live in show how open access to scientific information and research data are fundamental in solving global problems.
This initiative, promoted by SPARC (Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition), aims to fight for availability on the internet of free copies of peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, conference communications, technical reports, theses, and working documents, making the results more accessible for the entire scientific community.
