David Manta, PhD student in the Department of Civil Engineering at the NOVA School of Science and Technology, received an honorable mention for the "Best Presentation Award" at the "Cold-Formed Steel Research Consortium" Congress.
The excellent article entitled"Linear and bifurcation analyzes combining shell and GBT-based beam finite elements" is co-authored by Rodrigo Gonçalves and Dinar Camotim.
The Congress took place between the 20th and 21st of October and featured more than 50 presentations from numerous countries around the world.
