InteliArt

InteliArt is one of the winners of the Santander NOVA Collaborative Research Award.

The project aims to examine how Artificial Intelligence (AI) may affect, in several European countries, work organization, employment and industrial relations systems in the next decade.

The team is formed by Nuno Boavida, from the Interdisciplinary Center for Social Sciences of the NOVA Faculty of Social and Human Sciences (NOVA FCSH), and António Brandão Moniz, from the Department of Applied Social Sciences at the NOVA School of Science and Technology (FCT NOVA), with the cooperation of FCT NOVA's PhD students, Marta Candeias, Sofia Romeiro and Débora Freire.

The results of the InteliArt project, focused on the banking, automobile and port sectors, will not only be useful to business players operating in these three fields, but will equally contribute to debates about the effects of automation on the organization of the labour, employment and industrial relations.

The prize, in the amount of 15 thousand euros, distinguishes projects developed by young junior researchers from NOVA involving at least two of the organic units of the University and was delivered during the NOVA Science Day.
