NOVA University Lisbon will create the Institute of Arts and Technologies (NOVA IAT) at the “Forte da Trafaria”. The concession of a significant part of the properties to NOVA was approved by the municipality of Almada on September 7.
The IAT, which results from a consortium between NOVA School of Science and Technology and FCSH, will be a national and international reference. This will be the first research, teaching and artistic creation center to be born in the Lisbon district, aiming at Art's valorization and technology transfer.
