Carolina Marques and Akmaral Suleimenova, PhD students in Nanotechnologies and Nanosciences, are going to test diabetes in space, using paper biosensors.
The students' project was selected to participate in the European Low Gravity Research Association (ELGRA) initiative, which, in collaboration with the Swedish Space Corporation, is preparing to launch unmanned rockets into space.
These rockets will spend six minutes in microgravity, before falling, and taking into account this project, the two institutions have launched a competition for initiatives that could be integrated in these rockets.
Congratulations!
