Maria Paula Diogo, professor and researcher in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at the NOVA School of Science and Technology (FCT NOVA), is nominated for the prestigious Leonardo da Vinci Medal.
This is the most notable award granted by the Society for the History of Technology (SHOT), recognizing scholars who have contributed outstandingly to the history of technology through research, teaching, publication or other activities.
The Committee will determine its ultimate choice at the end of September, but the sheer appointment attests to the recognition of the work of CIUHCT (Centro Interuniversitário da História das Ciências e da Tecnologia ) and FCT NOVA in the international panorama of the History of Technology.
