The NOVA School of Science and Technology (FCT NOVA) promotes the fifth edition of the FCT NOVA Challenge contest, with the support of the Directorate-General for Education and the United States Embassy.
The FCT NOVA Challenge is the only competition hosted by a portuguese higher education institution that offers a visit to the NASA Center in Washington DC. In four years, there have been 16 young people to whom FCT NOVA has provided an unforgettable trip.
This 5th edition continues the mission of promoting scientific knowledge among young Portuguese students and the consequent creation of new talents in Science, Technology and Engineering, research and teaching areas of FCT NOVA.
In addition to the 12th grade students, from the Scientific-Humanistic Science and Technology and the Scientific-Humanistic Socioeconomic Sciences courses, for the first time, FCT NOVA has opened the competition for Vocational Schools. Also for the first time all students will be able to see their projects / works exhibited and awarded at the public works exhibition prior to the prize-giving session on June 5, 2020. The winning works of the exhibition will be chosen by vote, by all participants and visitors.
