The 11th edition of 1180ºC, an open day hosted by the research center VICARTE - Glass and Ceramics for the Arts, returns on December.
The initiative includes a market with author pieces, resulting from the glass and ceramic work practiced in this laboratory, as well as glassblowing demonstrations, giving the opportunity to understand how glass works and to explore different aesthetic and scientific possibilities.
The sale will take place from 13 to 20 December between 10h00 and 18h00, except Sunday 15th. During December 14th, the laboratories will be open to the public and it will be possible to watch the creation of pieces by national and international artists, students and teachers from the Master in Glass and Ceramic Art and Science.
