Daniel Tani, a former NASA astronaut, held a lecture at FCT NOVA last July 6 where he shared his experience, photographs and videos of his stay at the International Space Station (ISS).
During his speech, he spoke from the launch of the space shuttle to its adaptation to a non-gravity environment, its walks through space and operations in robots to build and repair the international space station.
The former astronaut assured that he was privileged to have "appreciated how beautiful the planet is" and a "feeling of being a citizen of the world", belonging to the Planet more than to a country.
