Last Sunday, June 11, the National University Championship of Long Swimming took place in Coimbra.
The NOVA Swimming Team was present in this competition with 6 students, Francisca Azevedo, Catarina Sequeira, Ana Rita Ribau, Miguel Ramos and Daniil Girin.
In the tests of breasts, 50 and 100 meters, our student Catarina Sequeira conquered 2 gold medals. Also noteworthy was the student Francisca Azevedo, who also brought 2 gold medals, from the 2 races in which she participated, 400 free and 100 meters back. In this last event, 100 meters back, the student Francisca Azevedo also beat a new national university record. The whole team is to be congratulated.
