The NOVA University of Lisbon was distinguished for the sixth consecutive year in the international ranking THE Young University Rankings prepared by Times Higher Education that elects the 200 best universities of the world under 50, being in the range 101 to 150.
NOVA is the national leader in the citations indicator which reflects the impact of the developed scientific research and confirms the strong commitment since the founding of the university in the development of relevant scientific production, the result of innovative teaching and quality.
NOVA also leads the list of Portuguese universities in terms of international performance. Success in this indicator confirms the ability to attract international students, faculty and researchers attesting to their ability to make their scientific publications co-authored with peers from other institutions globally.
This ranking distinguishes institutions that have become globally notable in just a few years of existence, such as the NOVA University of Lisbon, founded in 1973.
