On the afternoon of April 26th the Department of Informatics of FCT NOVA will promote "Girls in ICT @ FCT NOVA".
This event takes place in the framework of the "International Girls in ICT Day", an international day that aims to motivate young girls to consider careers in areas related to computer technology and computing.
Secondary school students participating coming from the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th years, 35 girls and 35 boys, will develop a programming activity with fun and motivational objectives.
The “International Girls in ICT Day” is an initiative supported by all Member States of ITU, the United Nations specialized agency for information and communication technologies (ICT). The "International Girls in ICT Day" is celebrated on the 4th Thursday of April each year.
