The Commemorative Session of the 40th Anniversary of the Chemistry Department, which we titled "40 Years of NOVA Chemistry" will be held next March 29th, at 2:00 p.m., in the Grand Auditorium of FCT NOVA, with emphasis on the 35 years of the Degree in Applied Chemistry and the 30 years of the Integrated Master in Chemistry Engineering and Biochemistry.

The event will count with the presence of two distinguished guests, Alberto Credi of the University of Bologna, who will give a lecture titled "Making machines at the nanoscale" and Chris R. Lowe of the University of Cambridge, with the lecture "From fundamental science to clinical applications and Industry - The Cambridge Academy of Therapeutic Sciences (CATS) ".

As it is usual on of these occasions, current students and alumni will make their testimonies and the Chemistry Department since 1977 will be remembered.

The commemorative session is open to the public and we hope to count with the presence of all FCT colleagues and students to celebrate together 40 Years of NOVA CHEMISTRY.
