The 3rd edition of FCT NOVA Hackathon, powered by FCT NOVA's Informatics Nucleus, will take place next 25 and 26 March in the Agora Room, FCT Library.
In this edition, the Nucleus proposes a challenge to the participants, which should be organized in teams of 2 to 4 elements, to create a mobile or web application during 24 hours full of hard work and animation. The winning teams will be entitled to a set of prizes ranging from money - € 500, € 250 and € 125 for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively - to computer equipment. The remaining participants will also have the opportunity to win prizes by participating in small challenges during the event.
This year, the FCT NOVA Informatics Nucleus has again the support of NOVA's Department of Informatics and several renowned IT companies such as BOLD, KPMG, Novabase, Opensoft and Imaginary Cloud.
