The research results of the solar laser laboratory (Professor Dawei Liang et.al. CEFITEC. Physics Department, FCT, New University of Lisbon) were highlighted by NEWSBREAKS of the prestigious journal "Laser Focus World".
Reaching record-high 31.5W/m2 multimode and 7.9W/m2 fundamental mode collection efficiencies, the most efficient emission of solar laser radiation can be achieved conveniently within a laboratory and can find both terrestrial and space applications.
