The "Seasonal School in Circuits-and-Systems for the Internet-of-Things" was held last 28, 29 and 30 November at the Campus of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the New University (FCT- CAS4IoT).
Organized by FCT-NOVA's Department of Electrotechnical Engineering and UNINOVA- Center for Technologies and Systems, this intensive course was aimed at finalist students, postgraduate students and engineers and masters specializing in the design of integrated circuits (analog and digital).
The CAS4IoT was the first Seasonal School sponsored by the Circuits-and-Systems Society, CASEE of the IEEE, as well as by several multinationals of the semiconductor industry (S3group, Silicongate and Aura Semiconductor) and had a receptivity that surpassed all expectations. The course of three days counted with the presence of 78 registered participants from 9 different countries including, in addition to the national ones (coming from Aveiro, Lisbon, Leiria), participants from Italy, Holland, France, Ireland, Poland, United Kingdom, Denmark and India.
