The Casa da América Latina and the Banco Santander created the Scientific Award Mario Quartin Graça 2016 to distinguish the best doctoral theses written by Portuguese or/and Latin American researchers.
The three best teses will be awarded whith15,000 euros in the categories of social sciences and humanities, natural sciences and technology and category of economic and business sciences. For each of them there are 5,000 euros for the best work.
Portuguese or Latin American can apply if they have completed the PhD for less than three years.
