The members of the Bioscope group, Professors Carlos Lodeiro, José Luis Capelo and Doctor Hugo Santos, researchers belonging to the UCIBIO-REQUIMTE unit, FCT NOVA Chemistry Department, just coordinated the publication of a special issue of the Journal "Applied Acoustics" published by Elsevier Editorial, where several international studies involving different applications of ultrasound are collected. This special issue entitled "The tool of never ending applications", was dedicated to the 1st Ultrasonics 2014 (1st international conference on ultrasonic-based applications: from analysis to synthesis) that took place in Caparica in September 2014.
The second edition of the international conference is being organized by the same team and will take place in June 2016. (2nd international conference on ultrasonic-based applicatios)
