Until May 16th, applications are open for INRES 2016, an initiative under the Programme Carnegie Mellon Portugal aimed at the acceleration of Portuguese business projects in the area of Information and Communication Technologies.
The INRES is intended to entrepreneurial teams still in the initial phase of launching new businesses based on ICT. Participants in this acceleration program will be encouraged to leave their comfort zones, maintaining a pace of intensive work and managing high levels of uncertainty.
Underlying this competition is the constant search for contacts to continue to build and validate their business projects. The teams will benefit from exposure to a highly dynamic environment of research groups of world leaders and experts in market and industry in a variety of high technology areas.
Based on the method Lean LaunchPad, INRES consists of a training period in Portugal, followed by a period of seven weeks of imersion in the United States, anchored in the Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh campus of and in Silicon Valley.
Presentation sessions about INRES are scheduled to the 18th of April (UPTEC, Porto), April 21st (Beta-i, Lisbon), 27th April (IPN, Coimbra) and May 2nd (INESC TEC, Porto).
