On Saturday, April 16the, the second phase of the Mathematics Contest- Portugal (South Zone) will be held at FCT NOVA between 3 and 4 pm. Almost 900 students are expected on campus coming from primary and secondary schools, from the 3rd to the 10th grade that will fill FCT NOVA’s buildings IV, VII, VIII and the CGD Auditorium of the Faculty.
This Contest is currently present in eleven European countries (Germany, Austria, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic and Switzerland).
This contest, through the theme "Mathematics for all" is intended, to unite students from different parts of the country, from different social strata and education levels, and to turn them math enthusiasts.
