The 1st edition of the Best Thesis competition in Innovation and Entrepreneurship organized by COTEC Portugal finished. According to COTEC, 75 former students of 57 courses from 26 universities in the country applied. Among all the candidates were selected 10 to be present in the final of the competition, which took place on 19 April in Lisbon.
The Engineer João Duarte Molina, a former FCT NOVA student of DEMI (Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering) won the 1st prize with the thesis "TRIZ Methodology Applied to Comfort Acoustic Development in Commercial Aircraft."
This thesis was written under the guidance of Professors Helena Navas and Isabel Nunes both of DEMI.
