The aim is to secure Europe’s leadership by stimulating investment and uptake in high added-value, competitive products and services across a range of sectors. Advanced materials with new functionalities and improved performance will be developed, leading to more competitive products by minimizing environmental impacts and resource consumption. Advanced manufacturing and processing will move towards more knowledge-intensive, sustainable, trans-sectoral technologies, resulting in more innovative products, processes and services.
