The 9th International Conference on Axiomatic Design (ICAD 2015) was held in Florence, Italy, from 15 to 18 September 2015. In this Conference, members of the Unit for Research and Development in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial (UNIDEMI) - a center of research Foundation for Science and Technology whose host institution is the FCT NOVA - achieved following awards:
Honorable Mention for Outstanding Technical Paper

UNIDEMI Members have participated in ICAD conferences since 2004 and hosted the 2009 and 2014 editions on the campus of FCT NOVA. They won major awards in the 2011 edition - held at KAIST, Daejeon, Republic of Korea - by occupying a prominent place in the international community engaged in the research and application of the Axiomatic Project theory.
The 2016 edition is scheduled for September 2016, at the Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, People's Republic of China ICAD 2016.
