This year, among others, the FCT NOVA research work was awarded in the 2nd Almada Research Prize, through an honors award, given to the project Analysis of Structural Resilience in Post Earthquake Scenarios Considering Multiple Exposures, from the researchers Filipe Ribeiro, Luís Neves and André Barbosa of the Faculty of Science and Technology from the Nova University of Lisbon.
The Almada Research Prize, sponsored by the Municipality of Almada, aims to distinguish researchers in the areas of Humanities and Scientific -Technological that promotes the city while an educational field.
With this biennial prize, the municipality intends to invest in the potential of research as a local development engine and to project the municipality as an area of knowledge and innovation.
