Last April 17 the President of the Republic appointed Professor Elvira Fortunato Dr. as President of the Organizing Committee for the Celebrations of the Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities, which in 2015 will have the city of Lamego for the first time as the stage of these celebrations.
Elvira Fortunato, full professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa will thus succeed Silva Peneda, who was two years, 2013 and 2014, ahead of the day's Organization Commission on June 10th.
