FCT student develops first application based on location for anonymous communications at local events, which requires no registration

André Freitas, is part of the start-up "Near Us," which developed an application that recreates the concept of IRC, this time for "smartphone", and based on the location of users and on walkie-talkies.Among the countries already using this application, there  are Saudi Arabia, South Korea, the United States, the Netherlands and Hong Kong, where the usefulness of this application was demonstrated when the protests began.
