Prof. João Leite, faculty member at Department of Computer Science and member of NOVA-LINCS, is PC Co-Chair of the 14th European Conference on Logics in Artificial Intelligence (JELIA'14), which takes place in Funchal, Madeira, on 24-26 September 2014.
Organised for the first time in 1988, JELIA has turned into a major biennial forum of reference for the discussion of logic-based approaches to artificial intelligence.
The 2014 edition features 49 speakers, of which 4 invited: Diego Calvanese (Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy); Agata Ciabattoni (Vienna University of Technology, Austria); Hector Geffner (Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain); e Anthony Hunter (University College London, United Kingdom).
