From June 24 to 26 the first international meeting of RaBBiT - Radiation Biology and Biophysics Doctoral Trainning Programme as well as the Laboratory and Radiation Safety Workshop will be held at FCT/UNL. These events aim to disseminate the research being done by the affiliated research laboratories. Researchers from partner institutions of the program (The Open University, UK; Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, Spain; University of Innsbruck, Austria; Queen's University Belfast, Ireland, UK) will be present at the meeting.
The Laboratory and Radiation Safety Workshop aims to broaden participant's knowledg e in Laboratory Safety (handling of hazardous substances) as weel as Radiological Protection and Safety.
