It was in the "Innovation" category that the SocketHive Team , composed by three students belonging to FCT-UNL’s Electrical Engineering Department (Alexandra Videira, João Aires and João Barata) won their project. SocketHive presented a solution for monitoring electricity consumption, which allows its user to control and to achieve greater efficiency of his electricity bill through a connection to this solution across multiple devices, thus providing a real-time control. Now, FCT-UNL’s must pass the next on-line competition, this time international of scope. Its result will come out next June.
