The article "Efficient support for in-place metadata in transactional memory" co-authored by Ricardo Dias, Tiago Vale and João Lourenço, was nominated "distinguished paper" in Euro-Par 2012, an international top-ranked conference in Computer Systems / Computer Science.. From over one hundred papers, only three papers received this distinction and will be presented in a special plenary session.
Ricardo Dias is a PhD student at DI, Tiago Vale is a MSc student at DI, and João Lourenço is their thesis supervisor. Ricardo Dias and João Lourenço are members of the Departamento de Informática and researchers at CITI.
