In this seminar, opinions from different speakers on different topics will be presented, with the following speakers:
- Professor João Joanaz de Melo, graduated and doctorate in Environmental Engineering, is also an environmental activist, founder and president of GEOTA.
- Professor Júlia Seixas, specialized in Energy and Climate Change, president of DCEA and CENSE researcher, has coordinated studies supporting the national public policy of climate mitigation for more than 20 years.
- Professor António Câmara, PhD in Civil Engineering, full professor at DCEA and researcher at CENSE, has more than 200 publications and is a true entrepreneur, having founded 3 companies. He received the Pessoa Award in 2006, as well as the EU Entrepreneur Award of the year in 2008.
- Professor and researcher Ana Cristina Queda, professor at Instituto Superior de Agronomia of the Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering. Participates in the Agronomy, Food, Environment and Landscape Research Center. She completed her PhD in agro-industrial engineering at ISA–UTL and her field of specialization is the treatment of biodegradable waste by composting.
