Bridge Talks are free events by NOVA FCT Executive Education, fostering connections between academia and business to explore transformative ideas. Each talk focuses on a relevant topic, providing a platform for thought leaders to share insights and innovations. Why Bridge Talks? Firstly, NOVA FCT is located south of the bridge. Secondly, it aligns with our mission: "Bridging to meet the future: lifelong learning in Science and Tech." Finally, we aim to build bridges between academia and business, fostering collaboration that leverages the strengths of both. The event will begin with welcomes from the President of Câmara Municipal da Almada, Inês Medeiros, and NOVA FCT Dean, José Júlio Alferes. An art and technology exhibition will follow, and the day will conclude with João Blümel’s mind-reading performance, "Mind Meets Machine: Can ChatGPT and VR read your mind?"
