Carnegie Mellon Portugal has granted doctoral scholarships in ICT to Francisco Braga, João Afonso Vilalonga, Alessandro Gambeti (Doctoral Programme in Computer Science), and Francisco Neves (Doctoral Programme in Electrical and Computer Engineering).
The NOVA FCT students are among the 12 selected to participate in the third edition of the "Affiliated Ph.D. Programs", which aims to enhance collaboration between Portuguese higher education institutions and Portuguese companies through a robust partnership with Carnegie Mellon University.
These scholarships, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology, offer the opportunity of a research period at Carnegie Mellon for up to one year
The four students will conduct their research in the fields of computer engineering, electrical and computer engineering, and human-computer interaction.
