The first edition of the International Seminar "Past and Present of Mathematics 2023", dedicated to the Secondary Education curriculum, will take place on October 28th and November 11th. The seminar is The seminar is organised for maths teachers and researchers and registration is free but compulsory.
The Seminar includes a short training program, lasting 10 hours, taking place in a hybrid format (online or in person). This action constitutes an opportunity to discuss perspectives and teaching strategies on a theoretical and debate level, as well as to deepen knowledge about the Mathematics curriculum in Secondary Education.
The program in October 28th centers on curricular trends in Secondary Education in the past and the program on November 11th focuses on curricular trends in Secondary Education in the present. On both days, the goal is to provide a final moment of debate and sharing, with the purpose of discussing the day's presentations.
The coordination and promotion of this seminar are a shared responsibility among the teachers from DM and DCSA.
Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the short-term training course. The registration deadline expires on October 25, 2023.
