The most talented students of NOVA School of Science and Technology | FCT NOVA saw their work recognized in the "NOVA Young Talent Awards" ceremony, which took place last April 13 at the Rectory Auditorium, Campus de Campolide, and which honored the best students from the 1st year of each of the 39 courses of NOVA, in the academic years 2020/2021 and 2021/2022.
The session additionally included the intervention of Carolina Amorim, former student of Biomedical Engineering at FCT NOVA, and who about six years ago became CEO and Founder of Emotai, a company that operates in the field of neurotechnology. In 2019, the alumna won the "Best Founder by Portuguese Women in Tech" award.
The "NOVA Young Talent Awards" aims to distinguish the best students in the 1st year of the University's Bachelor's and Integrated Master's degrees, by awarding a prize equal in value to the tuition fee. This initiative also recognises the basic training that the students have enjoyed, by paying homage to their respective Secondary Schools of origin.
