The XIII University Sports Gala will distinguish the best university athletes of the past year. FCT NOVA has two athletes competing for this title.
Pedro Casinha, student in Biomedical Engineering, who recently won the title of World University Canoeing Champion, is nominated for Athlete of the Year.
Sofia Nunes, a student of the Masters in Molecular Genetics and Biomedicine, is part of the Women's Swimming Relay team which is also among the finalists.
The voting is running for the general public, on Facebook and Instagram of FADU. To vote you just need to "like" or "love" the respective publication.
The award ceremony will take place on 9 November during the XIII University Sport Gala.
