At the ceremony to commemorate the 85th Anniversary of the Portuguese Professional Order of Engineers, the Gold Medal of the Order of Engineers was awarded to Elvira Fortunato, Professor and researcher at the Department of Materials Science at the NOVA School of Science and Technology for its academic and professional path.
The Gold Medal of the Order of Engineers (Ordem dos Engenheiros) aims to distinguish those who, through their action and exceptional merit, have contributed in a very relevant way to the progress of Engineering, to the prestige of the Ordem dos Engenheiros or to the common good.
