On October 5 run for a good cause

The October 5th holiday will be once again the stage for the FaCiT Solidarity Race that this year introduces new features.

For the first time a fundraising campaign was launched to organize the race and achieved 262% of the target. In addition, this year the race has a 10kms trial, increasing the challenge for the more prepared runners. This edition will also counts with the NOVA School of Science and Technology student groups and some research laboratories that will be represented in a show promoting outside what the NOVA School of Science and Technology is inside. The race mantaines the 5kms run and the walking activity.

The 5th FaCiT Solidarity Race is supported by the Social Action Services of the NOVA University of Lisbon, SASNova, the Almada City Council and the Union of the Parish of Caparica and Trafaria.

FaCiT's objectives are to support, promote and implement social solidarity programs and actions for the benefit of students or employees with financial difficulties.
