The European Researchers' Night brought scientists, science enthusiasts and onlookers together again on 27 September at the National Museum of Natural History and Science at the University of Lisbon and at the Principe Real Garden.

NOVA School of Science and Technology's more than 20 research-driven activities thrilled visitors and gave them the opportunity to learn more about what is being done on the Caparica campus. From initiatives that encouraged you to start programming, to challenges using graph theory or tips on how to become a sustainable citizen, the NOVA School of Science and Technology's proposals have allowed a direct and informal contact with all areas of action of this faculty in a playful and educational way.

This year's edition was dedicated to the theme "Science in the City" with the sub-theme "Preservation of Cultural Heritage", which highlighted the role of science in the quality of life in cities in the coming decades.

The European Researchers' Night is an initiative launched in 2005, funded by the European Commission, under the Marie Curie Actions. It aims to celebrate science and bring researchers and citizens closer together by stimulating a series of activities that take place throughout the year, culminating in a night of science celebration and celebration, taking place in various European cities on the last Friday of September.
