Professor Paulina Mata distinguished as "Scientist Woman" by the "Ciência Viva"

Professor Paulina Mata from FCT NOVA Chemistry Department was distinguished as "Scientist Woman" by "Ciência Viva".

Ciência Viva pays tribute to Portuguese women scientists, who represent 45% of the total number of researchers in our country and whose outstanding work has been fundamental to the progress that national science and technology have recorded in the last decades.

This special thanks to the scientists culminated in the launch of the book “Women in Science” that does not exhaust the participation of Portuguese women who do science, but pretends to be a sample of their involvement in the adventure of knowledge.
