The “Universidade Nova de Lisboa” is one of three Portuguese universities that this year are among the 200 best in the world of the British QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2017, which analyzes the potential of employability of higher education institutions. NOVA is accompanied by the University of Porto and the University of Coimbra.
Five parameters are the basis for the QS Graduate's final ranking of employability leaders, but not all have the same weight. The reputation recognized by recruiters, for example, is worth 30% of the total evaluation of each institution. Variables such as partnerships with companies, the remuneration of graduates of the institution, the presence of companies on campus and the employability rate have different weights: 25%, 20%, 15% and 10%, respectively.
